Well now you can say you have a sister in the record books.

According to the NWTF site, which tracks turkeys across the U.S. and Mexico, I have made it. It is atypical because it has more than one beard – this bad boy has FIVE. I am in the processing of registering my turkey as:

For female hunter category
#2 in the State of WI
#3 in the U.S. and Mexico for the Eastern subspecies (which is what is hunted in Wisconsin)
#4 in the U.S. and Mexico for all subspecies (Eastern, Rio Grande’s, Merriam’s and Gould's, along with the Ocellated in Mexico).

My bird scores about 125. #1 in Wisconsin is 143, and #3 is 92.
